More About Me

Shakib Sayyed

I'm a 17-year-old self-taught developer from India with over three years of experience working with HTML and CSS. My coding journey began out of pure curiosity and has now grown into a deep passion for building real-world digital solutions. Over the years, I’ve learned to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces, and now I’m actively expanding my skills in backend development and computer science fundamentals.

Currently, I'm diving into Java with a strong focus on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), as I aim to break into a top tech company in the future. I believe Java provides the structure and speed needed to crack coding interviews and solve complex problems, which is why I’ve made it a core part of my learning path. Alongside Java, I’m also learning the backend stack with Python, Django, and MySQL, where I’ve already built practical projects that solve real problems.

One of my proudest achievements is QuoteBook, a social platform where users can post, view, and save their favorite quotes. I built the first working version of this platform in just 1.5 days using Django and MySQL. It’s still in its early phase, but I have big plans ahead, I’m working on adding features like likes/dislikes, follow/unfollow, personalized feeds, and more to make it a fully interactive space for sharing thoughts and inspiration.

Aside from coding, I love experimenting with new tech, designing clean UIs, and taking on mini freelance projects to challenge myself and grow in real-world scenarios. I’m a strong believer in learning by doing, and every project, no matter how small, teaches me something new.

As I continue my journey, I'm actively looking to connect with fellow developers, tech enthusiasts, and global professionals who share the same energy for learning, building, and making an impact. I’m still young, but I have big dreams, and I’m committed to turning those dreams into reality.

Things I Do Beyond Tech:

Other than tech, I am a space enthusiast.

Ever since I was young, the vastness of the universe has fascinated me. I’ve always been drawn to the mysteries of space, cosmology, and astronomy, exploring questions that go beyond our world and challenge our imagination. Whether it’s the formation of galaxies, the nature of black holes, the possibility of life beyond Earth, or the endless depth of interstellar space, I find myself constantly curious and hungry to learn more.

I enjoy reading about alien civilizations, time dilation, wormholes, multiverses, and the evolving science behind how the universe began and where it's heading. Space doesn’t just amaze me, it humbles me. It reminds me how much there is to explore, to question, and to discover.

To me, the universe is the greatest classroom, and I never want to stop being its student
